Natural bodybuilding’s World Championships head to Canada for the first time
On 20–21 November 2026 Calgary hosts the WNBF Amateur and Pro World Championships — the first time in 37 years they leave the United States.
The World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) — one of the oldest drug-tested bodybuilding organisations — is taking its flagship event abroad. The WNBF Amateur and Pro World Championships, “Worlds 37”, will be held on 20–21 November 2026 at the Bella Concert Hall in Calgary, Canada.
A first in the event’s history
For 37 years the championships have been held in the United States. Calgary is the first city outside the USA chosen to host them.
More than 400 natural bodybuilding and physique athletes are expected
Competitors will represent more than 65 countries
Organisers expect over 1,000 spectators
Why it matters
A World Championship that brings together athletes from dozens of countries shows how far drug-tested bodybuilding has grown. For federations like ours, it is a clear sign that the international stage for clean athletes keeps getting bigger.
